As many of you may know I have been taking a broadcast technology class this year. Sadly, today is my last day in the class. I would like to leave a review of the class before I go. I liked the freedom I was given on projects like the 6 word story. I didn't like projects where I had to follow a list and check things off, like the 30 unique shots project. Overall I enjoyed many of the projects, my favorite being 6 word story. I would have liked editing more because I enjoyed that part of video production. I am going to take broadcast 2 next semester because I am interested in learning more about video and I would like to do more editing.

Recently I have finished a news package that I have been working on for the past couple of weeks. I decided to make my video on cubing (the solving of rubik's cube puzzles in short amount of time.) I chose this topic because I have a friend who cubes as a large hobby and it fascinates the people around him. I had a few difficulties finding variety with my B-Roll so I decided to use shots from the subject's channel. Overall I enjoyed the project a lot and it was fun to see how a news package is put together. If you would like to see my new video you can go to my video page or watch it on school Tube by clicking here.
