Hello everyone, I just got done learning how to use Final Cut Pro. I was able to learn this by getting a variety of shots across my school. For example, we got a wide shot of me shaking hands with my principal. After I got my footage, I uploaded it into my computer and began editing. My teacher taught me many valuable things about Final Cut Pro. I’ve used iMovie in the past which helped me greatly when learning this new program. In my opinion Final Cut Pro is strictly better than iMovie because it gives a lot more freedom. I enjoyed the scavenger hunt and I am glad I got to learn a new program that I love.

Hi everybody, I have recently finished an assignment called “Walldo”. I had to get a variety of shots to help me practice a new film technique. The shots were, wide, angled, low, linking, depth, and opposite. The project was a lot of fun when I got to edit using Final Cut Pro, but I got frustrated at points when I couldn’t get the lighting right. I ended up having to get new footage twice because I didn’t understand certain shots. However, with this work I learned what a linking shot really was and when to use it. I also learned that wide shot were even wider than I thought. Even though the project had frustrating points, I learned a lot and hope to use my new found knowledge later in the year. Hello everybody, I just got finished with my I Am Video project. The project was an overall great start to the class. I liked the simplicity of iMovie and enjoyed the template I used. I tried to put my silly and fun personality along with showing some of the activities I like doing. I had minor difficulties with wifi connection, however, I changed rooms and the connection greatly improved. After this minor issue I continued to work and finish my project.
